This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or browsing data to any server. All analysis runs entirely in your browser.

What the extension does

When you open the extension popup on a web page, the extension reads the contents of that page directly in your browser to perform an SEO analysis. This includes:

Page title, meta description, and other meta tags
Heading structure (H1–H6)
Open Graph and Twitter Card tags
Canonical URL and hreflang attributes
Structured data (JSON-LD, Microdata, RDFa)
Images, links, and their attributes
Core Web Vitals and performance metrics
Accessibility signals (landmarks, labels, skip links)

The results are displayed immediately in the popup and discarded when you close it. Nothing is saved between sessions.

Network requests

In some checks, the extension makes network requests on your behalf to URLs associated with the page you are analyzing:

robots.txt — to check whether the file exists at the page's origin
sitemap.xml — to check whether the file exists at the page's origin
Hreflang alternate URLs — to verify that alternate-language pages link back to the current page

These requests are made directly from your browser to the target URLs. No data from the responses is stored or sent anywhere else.

Data storage

The extension does not use chrome.storage or any other persistence mechanism. No data about you, your browsing, or the pages you analyze is saved locally or remotely.

Third parties

The extension does not include analytics, telemetry, advertising, or any third-party services. It makes no requests to external servers other than those described above.

Permissions

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

activeTab — to read the content of the tab you are currently viewing when the popup is open
scripting — to inject the analysis script into tabs that were open before the extension was installed
host permissions (<all_urls>) — required to analyze any web page and to fetch robots.txt, sitemap.xml, and hreflang URLs across all domains
